1-Year Limited Warranty

SurfaceOne stands behind the quality of our asphalt seal coating work. This warranty applies to residential asphalt driveways only and is provided to ensure our customers feel confident in choosing SurfaceOne.

What This Warranty Covers

SurfaceOne provides a 1-year limited warranty against peeling, flaking, or adhesion failure of the seal coating material when:

• The seal coating was applied by SurfaceOne

• The surface was asphalt only (not concrete or other materials)

• The driveway was properly prepared prior to application

• Normal residential use conditions are met

If a covered issue occurs within one (1) year of the service date, SurfaceOne will repair or reapply the affected area at no cost, at our discretion.

Products Used

SurfaceOne uses Armor Seal A-100 HD (Heavy Duty), a professional-grade, mineral-reinforced asphalt emulsion designed for residential and commercial asphalt surfaces. Proper installation and curing are required for optimal performance.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Pre-existing cracks, structural failures, or base issues

• Asphalt deterioration caused by poor drainage, standing water, or subgrade movement

• Damage from vehicles exceeding normal residential weight

• Snow plows, metal shovels, sharp tools, or mechanical damage

• Oil stains, fuel spills, chemical exposure, or tire marking

• Normal wear, fading, or oxidation over time

• Work performed on concrete, brick, pavers, or non-asphalt surfaces

Seal coating is a protective maintenance service and does not repair structural asphalt problems.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

• Allow proper curing time (minimum 24 hours before parking)

• Avoid sharp turns or stationary tire pressure during initial curing

• Maintain proper drainage to prevent standing water

• Notify SurfaceOne promptly if an issue is observed

Failure to follow care guidelines may void warranty coverage.

Warranty Claims

All warranty claims must be submitted within the 1-year warranty period. SurfaceOne reserves the right to inspect the surface before approving any warranty work.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer and service location.
